A HUGE congratulations to all students who entered their LAMDA exams Summer 2010. Once again, we have an unbroken record of achieving 100% pass rate, and not only a pass, but with MERIT or DISTINCTION!!!
Our Mission
Training in the arts increases confidence, poise and communication skills. We don't teach students how to learn and churn out lines, we teach skills for life through the expressive arts, with energy, passion and vision. We aim to train the practitioners, artists, writers, directors, choreographers and actors of the future. Therefore, we devise, improvise and experiment at the forefront of new theatrical techniques and ideas.We will challenge students to step out of their comfort zone, in order to achieve and become active learners.
Although public performance is a part of our teaching, we give all levels of ability the chance to take the stage and shine. We believe in encouraging an ethos where:

We encourage team work, cooperation and altruism in performance through this ethos. We aim to inspire, in order to motivate the innovators of the next generation, not only in the arts industry, but in all employment areas, creating well rounded individuals, with fabulous personalities and the confidence to go forward and be successful in life.
We only employ exceptionally talented, qualified and experienced Directors, Assistant Directors and Choreographers. All tutors are CRB checked through the enhanced procedure and fully insured. We also believe all young people have the right to our training, regardless of economic position. Therefore funding, sponsorship and scholarships are available to those families with low income.
ACTAcademy UK is also home to DanceKool UK (offering streetdance/contemporary dance.) Through each of these branches we aim to empower through the expressive arts, and offer superb quality extra-curricular tuition in a safe, fun and friendly environment.
